SoulCycle Buckhead to open as first Atlanta studio

Luxury fitness brand SoulCycle, known for its cult following of rockstar riders like Lady Gaga, is opening its first Georgia studio in Atlanta.

SoulCycle Buckhead at 3400 Lenox Road will open on Thursday, May 17. Situated in the Shops Around Lenox shopping center, the 3,128-square foot studio features 56 bikes, plus two gender neutral showers and restrooms.

Classes are $20 for first-time riders and $30 per class afterwards. The company also offers packages with five, 10, 20 and 30 classes.

The New York-based company’s revolutionary indoor cycling classes are held in dark, “non-intimidating” candlelit studios to “allow riders to lose themselves in the workout,” according to a SoulCycle news release.

Riders can expect to burn approximately 500-700 calories in one of the 45-minute high intensity cardio classes, each session curated with one-of-a-kind playlists and led by inspirational instructors.

SoulCycle has more than 80 locations nationwide and in Canada and has been a hit with celebrities, including Lady Gaga, David and Victoria Beckham and Madonna.
